Jason is a member of the Chapel Hill Planning Board, the immediate past Political Chair of the Orange-Chatham Sierra Club Group, and was recently elected Third Vice Chair of the Orange County Democratic Party. Jason works in the Marketing Department of Weaver Street Market, where he coordinates membership, organizes a broad range of public events, and helps conduct outreach with the local community. He has been active in a number of organizations over the past several years, and is proud to be a card-carrying member of the NAACP and ACLU.
Jason received his BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he also did coursework in Environmental Science & Studies and City & Regional Planning. He is currently completing his Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University.
